Project history

The COSTENGINEER.RU project was launched in 2017 and was initially focused solely on improving the general skill level of aviation industry design engineers in the field of cost engineering.
As a result of joint activities with a number of companies in the aviation and other industries, the list of services provided under the project has been expanded, and based on the project materials, a standardized work program for the discipline "Design to Cost Industrial Management Methodology based on the value analysis" has been created, which began training at NUST MISIS in the fall of 2025.

- popularization of cost engineering in the professional environment of machine-building industry specialists through the formation of a complex of multilingual educational programs freely available on the most popular video hosting sites;
- formation of an independent community of specialists in the field of cost engineering, providing educational and consulting services, including on a non-commercial basis, and promoting advanced approaches focused on the current needs of the machine-building industry.

- multilingual training program that meets educational standards;
- free access to a set of introductory videos (basic lectures and practical cases);
- the training methodology in the format of an individual case, formed taking into account the requirements of the customer and the principle of "seamless" integration of the case into the project;
- specialized qualifications of lecturers and the possibility of «on-the-job» training;
- flexible approach to lecturing methods, content and complexity of the curriculum (taking into account cognitive, age and other factors).
